The Buford GA Community Center is a state-of-the-art facility with the versatility to host any manner of events—from intimate weddings and seminars to large corporate meetings and live arts performances. With four distinct venues that include more than 5,700 square feet of banquet and meeting space, a 282-seat theatre, and an outdoor amphitheatre that can seat up to 1,800, the Buford Community Center provides a distinctly-southern setting to bring people together.

While our elegant facility—designed by BRPH architectural and engineering firm—provides the ideal backdrop, it is our professional staff and partners that make your event an experience to remember. Todd Cleveland, Director

Todd Cleveland came to the Buford Community Center with a degree in hotel and restaurant management from Georgia Southern University and more than 15 years hotel industry experience. Todd began his career with a bang at the 305 room full-service Emory Conference Center Hotel in Atlanta where he successfully guided various departments and ultimately became an executive committee member. Upon moving to Albany, GA, Todd served as General Manager for the new Hilton Garden Inn Albany and Albany Conference Center, a 122 room hotel with 16,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space. After returning to Atlanta, he successfully launched and led several distinctive facilities for Hyatt and Hilton before selecting to lead the Buford Community Center. Todd has served on the board of directors for the Albany Convention & Visitors Bureau as well as the Alpharetta Convention & Visitors Bureau.

Amy Brown, Sales & Event Manager

Amy BrownAs a Buford native and North Georgia College & State University graduate, Amy Brown is thrilled to put her degree and experience to work for the people of North Georgia. Her career in the wedding and event industry goes back nearly a decade, during which time she assisted with all types of events including weddings, corporate functions, casinos, bat mitzvahs, team building and more. Her proven sales skills and precise attention to detail truly add splendor and success to each event, and her strong interpersonal skills, attentiveness and enthusiasm help every client to feel valued and appreciated. Amy is well versed in local history and exhibits true southern hospitality.
