About the Buford Community Center, Town Park & Theatre









The Buford Community Center, Town Park & Theatre is a state of the art facility featuring

several versatile
and distinct venues. Designed by BRPH architectural and engineering firm, the BCC

features
over 5,700 square feet of banquet and meeting space, a 274 seat stage theatre, an outdoor

amphitheater for
concerts and events, a plaza featuring an interactive fountain, and will be the new

home of the Buford
Museum.
 

The BCC meeting and banquet space has the ability and functionality of hosting meetings, training

sessions,
receptions, dinners, weddings, and so much more. For business meetings and conferences

we
feature space that can accommodate four people in a boardroom setting up to 275 in a classroom

setting. 
We can also meet all of your audio- visual needs for presentations and training. For social

functions, our
space will accommodate intimate gatherings for a small group as well as receptions

and banquets for over
300. Our exclusive catering company, Proof of the Pudding, will create a

culinary masterpiece for any
occasion. Our sales and event manager, along with our staff, will provide

outstanding hospitality and
exquisite service to ensure that your next event exceeds your expectations.
 
Seating 274, including balcony and VIP boxes, the Sylvia Beard Theatre is a gorgeous venue worthy

of the
finest live arts performances. Featuring advanced lighting and sound, the Sylvia Beard Theatre

is the perfect
setting for theatrical performances, orchestral presentations, ballet, comedy shows, or

movie screenings. The
BCC staff can assist with all of your ticketing/box office needs, concessions,

and ushers to ensure a fabulous
experience for guests attending your next presentation, production,

or performance.
 
 

Seating up to 1,800, the BCC outdoor amphitheater features terraced lawn seating providing a quaint

venue
for concerts, shows, festivals, and performances. The BCC staff can provide assistance with

production
including ticketing, staging, lights, sound, visual equipment, etc. Our staff can also provide

assistance with
arranging event support staff for parking, security, and ushering. Make your next event

The BCC Town Park features benches, picnic tables, and swings in which you can relax, work, read,

or simply
enjoy the beautiful Buford weather. When it gets a little too warm, take a stroll and a splash

through our

Todd Cleveland

Director
 
Todd is a 15 year veteran of the hotel industry and native of Hartwell, GA.  Graduating from Georgia

Southern
University with a degree in hotel and restaurant management, Todd began his career with the

305 room
full-service Emory Conference Center Hotel in Atlanta where he successfully led various

departments within the
rooms division ultimately leading to his role as an executive committee member

of the hotel.  Moving to
Albany, GA, Todd took on the role of opening GM for the Hilton Garden Inn

Albany and Albany Conference
Center, a 122 room hotel with 16,000 square feet of meeting and banquet

space.  Moving back to the Atlanta
area, Todd joined Hyatt Place with the successful conversion and

launch
of the Hyatt Place Johns Creek before transitioning back to Hilton and taking over as area GM

for three hotels including the
Hilton Garden Inn Alpharetta.  Todd has served on the board of directors

for the Albany Convention & Visitors Bureau as
well as the Alpharetta Convention & Visitors Bureau. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Amy Brown

Sales & Event Manager
 
Born and raised in Buford, Amy’s career in the wedding and event industry goes back 8 years. 

Most recently
employed with Your Event Solution, Amy is very excited to be a part of the dedicated

team here
at the new Buford Community Center. She is pleased to represent the excellence and

distinction of the City of Buford.
Amy’s proven sales skills and careful attention to detail truly add

splendor and success to
each event. Her strong interpersonal skills, attentiveness and enthusiasm

help
every client to feel valued and appreciated. After graduating from Buford High School, Amy

studied in Dahlonega at North Georgia College & State
University to earn her Bachelor’s in Business

Administration with a focus on
Marketing.  At the age of twenty, Amy founded her own Christian-

based organization
and scholarship program that is geared toward young women throughout the

state
of Georgia, the “Miss Right to Life of Georgia Program”, and continues to serve as director.

She has
previously worked in all aspects of events from weddings, corporate functions, casinos,

bar/bat mitzvahs, team building, and more!  She is well versed in
local history and exhibits true

southern
hospitality.
